Job summary

Speedway RV Center in Monroe, WA is seeking a highly skilled RV technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has multiple years of RV technician experience and/or certifications with RV systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and replacing RV components; performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance; maintaining safe work practices; and collaborating with the front counter as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-year RV technician experience or related fields.
• Certification from college or technical school in a trade (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance) is helpful.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for RV systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Install or correct any known problems on the RV.
• Perform quality work on the various RV systems.
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Cross train to perform duties at the parts/front counter.

We are currently looking to add a highly skilled RV technician to our team; our ideal candidate would have multiple years of RV technician experience and / or certifications with RV systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Install or correct any known problems on the RV.
• Perform quality work on the various RV systems.
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Perform face to face transactions at front counter with customers.
• Cross train to perform duties at the parts counter / front counter.
• Assist the front counter when deemed necessary.

Essential Job Skills:

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience.
• Minimum of 4-year RV technician experience or related fields
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
