Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Utility Driver/Driver Lead to join our team. The role covers primary route coverage and mentoring fellow drivers, with opportunities to support vacation time and turnover coverage.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Class A CDL strongly preferred.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements upon hire.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to train and mentor on job responsibilities.
• Previous route service driving experience preferred.
• Must have excellent safety record.
• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Health and Safety as the top priority by following all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Provides safe, friendly, on-time, quality customer service.
• Picks up waste oil at customer locations using a Class B Tanker Truck, Box Trucks and/or Lube Delivery Truck.
• Mentors and trains other drivers on the job.
• Prepares waste loads for shipment to Oil Terminals.
• Serves as backup driver to cover routes when needed.
• Ensures waste/oil is stored in a safe and proper manner.
• Visits and services 8+ customers per day.
