Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is seeking a Robotics Engineering Lead to join our client onsite in Santa Rosa, California. The role focuses on automating manufacturing processes, integrating cobots for assembly, handling, and test tasks, and deploying AMRs to move materials on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial automation and robotics, hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2, cobot integration, and CAD tooling for layout and tooling design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in industrial automation and robotics in a live manufacturing environment.
• Experience programming and integrating cobots and their end-effectors, grippers, and vision systems.
• Experience with AMRs and material-handling automation on a factory floor.
• Familiarity with cobot simulation and offline programming tools to validate layouts and cycle times.
• Experience with ROS / ROS 2 and robot simulation or digital-twin tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the automation of targeted manufacturing processes from concept through full production deployment.
• Integrate collaborative robots (cobots) for assembly, handling, and test tasks.
• Deploy autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) to move material across the production floor.
