Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil/roadway design.
• Professional Engineering License in NC or ability to obtain within six months.
• Significant experience leading design teams on DOT and municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project tasks for conceptual, preliminary engineering, and final design activities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring of staff and direct work assignments.
• Manage projects and assist project managers with proactive project coordination.

Skills

Leadership experience

High-level technical knowledge in civil/roadway design

Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer/Geopak

Interpersonal and communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline
