Job summary

Goldwater Care in Bloomington, IL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to guide day-to-day nursing operations, supervise nursing assistants, admit/discharge residents, and ensure quality care. The RN will provide leadership to nursing staff and maintain an environment of warmth and safety.

Responsibilities include charting, transcribing orders, administering medications, coordinating with inter-departmental teams, performing IV care, and ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete and file admission/discharge records and transcribe physician orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure quality care.
• Provide IV care and other professional nursing services as required.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality of resident information and compliance with regulations.
