Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or healthcare related field required/preferred.
• Experience in primary care or specialty office settings is preferred.
• Active NYS RN license and BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong policy and regulatory knowledge for clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the central point of contact for nursing and clinical standards within office setting.
• Acts as the central point of contact for nursing clinical practice workflows relating to EMR and quality initiatives.
• Designated as the resource for nursing scope of practice and skill competency.
• Mentors nursing performance and learning needs.
• Assists in orientation of new hires on clinical policy and procedures and supports staff development.
• Liaison between internal departments (lab, radiology, pharmacy) for nursing care.
• Coordinat es vaccine-related programs (NYS Vaccine for Children) as primary or back-up coordinator.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements and maintains supplies and equipment.
