Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a Registered Nurse Lead for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU). You will provide clinical and operational leadership, support the Nurse Manager, and help drive day-to-day operations of the unit.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, active Maryland RN license, BLS, minimum 3 years acute care RN experience, and charge/preceptor experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years acute care RN work experience required.
• Charge/preceptor experience leading committees and scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership on the CVPCU under the guidance of the Nurse Manager.
• Oversee employment activities, conduct performance evaluations, and support staff development and training.
• Mentor and empower nursing staff, promoting a culture of quality, safety, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to drive operational excellence and deliver patient-centered care.
