Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience (or 12–14 years).
• Experience on large-scale industrial or infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong understanding of rigging operations.
• Ability to read mechanical and piping drawings and specifications.
• Experience with lifting plans and equipment.
• Familiarity with SWPP and heavy lift classification.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with document control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rigging Superintendent and supervise discipline leads.
• Provide oversight and technical direction to subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to validate manpower and rigger qualifications.
• Review weekly work plans to ensure rigging resources meet planned scopes.
• Identify scheduling concerns and elevate to construction management.
• Order tools and equipment needed for lifting operations.
• Inspect lifting beams, spreader bars, slings, and maintain storage.
• Enforce zero-accident safety requirements in the operation.
