Coherent Corp. is seeking a seasoned IC Applications leader to guide a team of application engineers in high-frequency RFIC development. The role emphasizes hands-on measurements, collaboration with multiple disciplines, and creation of robust product collateral.

The ideal candidate brings extensive leadership experience, strong RF engineering skills, and a track record in RF board design and advanced optical/coherent systems.

Qualificações

• Requires B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with 7–10 years of experience.
• Min 5 years leading IC Applications teams.
• Hands-on RFIC measurement of >20 GHz.
• Experience with RF board design.
• Experience creating IC product collateral (datasheets, evaluation boards).
• Understanding of fiber optic communication systems & O/E components.
• Experience with IM-DD PAM4 and coherent systems preferred.
• Experience with technical customer support.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop and grow a team of application engineers.
• Plan and manage efficient evaluation of prototype silicon, including electro-optical measurements.
• Develop product collateral such as datasheets, evaluation boards and evaluation software.
• Provide technical support (pre- and post-sale) to customers.
• Contribute to new product definitions with other disciplines and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on advanced developments.
