Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks an RF System Engineer to support the 361 ISRG at Hurlburt Field, FL. You will lead rapid development and testing of operational RF sensing capabilities and coordinate with local range frequency management offices.

The role requires extensive RF/EW/SIGINT experience, ability to work outdoors in austere conditions, and readiness to support training and mission planning with cryptologic and ISR relevance.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in RF, EW, SIGINT, or related fields.
• Familiarity with DoDI 4650.01 for spectrum management.
• Experience with RF design, requirements development, and performance validation.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Operational understanding of networking hardware (copper/fiber, switches, routers).
• Ability to work outdoors in austere environments to set up hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, integration, testing, training and sustainment of SIGINT capabilities.
• Design threat emulation systems for SIGINT, ISR, EMSO, Cyber and related training.
• Lead threat emitter needs for unit training, exercises, test events.
• Lead development and maintenance of wireless range capability for training and test.
• Coordinate with range control and frequency management offices for authorizations.
• Collaborate with engineering and sustainment on new system designs.
