Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and scanner; basic math and reporting.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, restocking, and displaying.
• Maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
• Implement and maintain planograms; ensure proper product presentation per guidance.
• Support cash control: cashier accountability, deposits, refunds/overrides, and tills counting.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
