Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash handling.
• Experience with IBM cash registers.
• Knowledge of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and loss prevention.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments; bag merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage; ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Open and/or close the store under direction of Area Manager.
