Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to oversee respiratory services and mentor staff. This full-time staff position requires leadership in the ICU and general floor care, with a focus on high-quality patient outcomes.

The role calls for an Arizona-licensed RRT or CRT/RRT registration, CPR, and the ability to supervise across Adult to Geriatric patients while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Arizona and CPR.
• Two-year respiratory education program completed.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 12 months of employment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead respiratory therapy team and organize workload for 40 hours per week.
• Perform diagnostic tests, PFTs, ABG maintenance, and hemodynamics.
• Provide patient care across age groups and participate in discharge planning.
• Precept and train staff, students, and orientees as needed.
