Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services across hospital departments.
• Supervise other respiratory care practitioners and orient staff.
• Operate independently following approved medical policies and procedures.
• Analyze lung capacity and blood samples using advanced equipment.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans and adjust as needed.
• Document and communicate patient conditions clearly.
• Respond to emergency codes with appropriate respiratory treatment.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and resources.
• Manage respiratory care equipment and supplies and ensure proper maintenance.
