Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care and lead therapy when required. You will work under general supervision, following established policies to support patients with cardiopulmonary needs.

Candidates should have graduation from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program and ideally an Associate's degree. Current Florida RT licensure and BLS are required, with prior critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to administer respiratory care and life support to cardiopulmonary patients.
• Ability to act as lead therapist when assigned across all areas.
• When leading, provide NICU patient care including ventilator and oxygen assessment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care and life support.
• Serve as lead therapist as assigned and supervise team.
• Follow Policies and Procedures and perform duties as requested by management.
