Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment, serving adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. You will collaborate with the team, train staff as needed, and support ongoing patient care at Swedish First Hill.

Required Washington licensure and accredited program, with BLS, ACLS and PALS on hire or within the specified timelines. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource person for other employees and may train or communicate instructions to other employees.
• Performs minor scheduling and inspects work for quality and safety.
• Serves as a contact person in the absence of a supervisor or director.
• Supports patient care across adult, pediatric and neonatal populations as needed.
