Moontower Design + Build in Austin, Texas is seeking a Residential Interior Designer to carry custom residential work from concept through construction and installation.

This full‑time role collaborates with architects, builders, estimators, purchasers, and project managers as part of an integrated design‑build team. You will balance design intent with budgets, schedules, and buildability while delivering compelling client presentations.

Qualifications

• Professional experience delivering high‑end residential interiors.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating refined design judgment and attention to detail.
• Experience developing finish schedules, specifications, and construction‑ready documentation.
• Confidence working directly with clients, consultants, vendors, and construction teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, priorities, and deadlines without losing sight of design intent.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design scopes from concept through construction and installation.
• Develop design concepts, material palettes, finish selections, furnishings, and client presentations.
• Create and maintain finish schedules, specifications, samples, and FF&E documentation.
• Guide clients through selections balancing design intent, budget, schedule, and constructability.
• Lead client presentations and communicate recommendations clearly and confidently.
