Job summary

Townsend Energy is seeking a Residential HVAC Install Technician in Danvers, MA. This full-time role involves leading installation jobs for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, and supervising apprentice crews.

You will install furnaces, boilers, AC, heat pumps, and read wiring diagrams. Requirements include 4+ years of install experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 2+ years of Job lead/supervisor experience - Desired.
• Radiant heat experience.
• Proficient experience with refrigerant, gas, oil, propane, and HVAC systems, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Experience in all HVAC low-voltage systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Certificate from an HVAC Technical School - Desired.
• Valid driver's license & insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leading installation jobs for residential and light commercial HVAC Systems.
• Installing oil, propane, natural gas, and air HVAC systems and duct work.
• Furnace, AC, Heat pumps, mini splits etc.
• Boilers and radiant heat.
• Consult with customers and answer their questions.
• Supervise the work of installers.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
