Job summary

Providence PACE is seeking a Lead Personal Care Aide for our Cully Assisted Living facility in Portland. This part-time role totals 24 hours per week, requiring Sunday morning and Monday shifts, with a third day flexible.

Under supervision, you will mentor aides, document care, monitor medications, and support residents with daily living activities. We offer teamwork-focused environment within a trusted Providence program.

Qualifications

• 6 months medication administration experience (1 year preferred).
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS - American Heart Association.
• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License preferred.

• Lead other Aides to complete required documentation and communicate with the next shift.
• Ensure care and medications are administered appropriately and analyze problems.
• Provide basic and routine care, assist residents with activities of daily living.

Job description

This position will be working 24 hours a week at our Cully Assisted Living facility. Must be available to work on Sunday morning and Monday (third day flexible).

Under the direction of the Resident Care Supervisor or Operations Supervisor and with clinical supervision, the Lead Personal Care Aide is expected to serve in a leadership role with other Aides to complete all required documentation, assure that all care and medications are administered appropriately, to solve problems, and to communicate with the staff of the next shift. Performs basic and routine quality care to the residents including assisting them in the activities of daily living and other personal care tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 months Medication administration experience. 1 year preferred.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Completion of approved medication administration training.
• Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
