Job summary

Premier Infrastructure & Energy is seeking a motivated Lead Researcher to support the NYC Research Department. The role emphasizes attendance, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced office environment in Brooklyn, NY.

You will train, coach, and assist other researchers while handling 811 tickets, maps, and field requests. This leadership position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Researcher experience within the utility locating, underground utility, 811, or related industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand maps, including identifying North, South, East, and West.

Responsibilities

• Process 811 tickets for underground utilities and provide maps to field technicians.
• Assist Field Operations with time-sensitive requests and coordinate daily workload.
• Train and mentor new Research employees and monitor office performance.
• Support supervisors with day-to-day responsibilities and special projects.
