Green Recruitment Company is supporting a high-growth renewable energy IPP seeking a Director Project Finance to structure and execute financings for a growing portfolio of development projects. The role leads structuring, debt, tax equity, and capital strategy, guiding a finance team and coordinating with legal, engineering, and tax advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or related field).
• 7-12+ years of experience in project finance and renewable energy finance.
• Experience structuring non-recourse project financings.
• Advanced financial modeling including tax equity structures.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of US power markets.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and close financing for renewable energy projects (construction debt, term debt, tax equity).
• Build and maintain project finance models, including tax equity structures and cash flow waterfalls.
• Manage relationships with lenders, tax equity investors, and other capital providers.
• Lead due diligence and coordinate with legal, engineers, and tax advisors on financing documentation.
• Partner with development teams to assess financeability during bid/development stages.
• Monitor covenant compliance, distributions, and financial performance.
• Present financing strategy and project economics to executive leadership and the board.
