Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or advanced degree in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Demonstrates attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
• Communicates well with team and across organizational boundaries to align goals and ensure completion.
• Leads meetings and communicates issues and trends to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex financial reports for Captive agreements and Reinsurance.
• Input general ledger entries using established procedures and accounting systems.
• Research complex reinsurance accounting treatment and policies.
• Research and resolve reconciling issues and discrepancies; implement corrective actions.
• Provide customer service to internal and external partners.
• Review financial reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare analyses and explain unusual or inconsistent trends.
• Suggest process improvements and drive solutions to enhance current processes.
