Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California.
• 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in an acute hospital Operating Room or Surgicenter.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to scrub as required; ability to take call within a 30 minute response time.

Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Ensures patient safety, medication administration accuracy, and adherence to standards of practice.
• Documents care accurately and timely using hospital systems.
• Collaborates with physicians, team members, patients and families to improve outcomes.
