Job summary

Forest View Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee clinical nutrition services for children, adolescents and adults with behavioral health needs. You will assess referred patients, make nutrition recommendations for nursing staff, collaborate with the treatment team, lead eating disorder groups, and provide ongoing nutrition education and strategies to support recovery.

• Two or more years' clinical dietitian experience; eating disorder exposure desirable.

Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108 bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. We are licensed by the State of Michigan, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and we bring more than 45 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (or within six (6) months of registration with B.S degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or equivalent education is required.
• Two or more years working experience as a Clinical Dietitian plus experience with eating disorder individuals desirable.
• Must possess the ability to make independent, responsible decisions and work independently.
• The ability to communicate, both oral and written, in a clear and concise manner with patients, staff, public, and physicians is required.
