Job summary

ABA Centers of America is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician to oversee daily clinic operations in Wellesley Hills, MA. The role supports RBTs, coordinates schedules, and ensures quality data collection while maintaining client and staff safety in a fast-paced ABA environment.

The Lead RBT will mentor staff, implement DTT and PRT strategies, and participate in ongoing training through our ABA Academy of Excellence. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with children in ABA or education settings.
• Active RBT certification through BACB is required.
• 2-year degree or higher preferred.
• Availability for after-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day schedule of the clinic with the RBT Supervisor and Director of Operations.
• Ensure RBTs have time to complete billing and administrative duties.
• Assist with data collection and completion.
• Mentor RBTs and cover for callouts to minimize missed services.
• Maintain client and staff safety as an extra support person for the clinic.
• Use discrete trial teaching and pivotal response treatment strategies.
• Teach and generalize skills in natural environments using formal procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate the day-to-day schedule of the clinic and maximize clinic productivity with RBT Supervisor and Director of Operations
• Ensure that RBTs have time to complete billing and administrative duties

• Use specified procedures to implement discrete trial teaching

• Use formal procedures to increase verbal behavior

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy (preferred)
• Active RBT certification through the BACB board
• 2-year degree or more (preferred)
• 1 year of experience training others (preferred)
• Availability during after-hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
• Reliable transportation (your own vehicle), a driver’s license, and car insurance
