Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is hiring a Lead Registered Behavior Technician to support the opening of our San Jose center. This full-time ABA RBT role focuses on delivering high-quality behavioral services to children with autism and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include direct intervention, training new hires, and collaborating with BCBAs and clinical teams, with opportunities for supervision hours toward BCBA certification. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Bachelor's degree required.
• Enrollment in a BACB-approved Master’s program is preferred.
• Prior lead RBT experience required.
• Experience with ASD, program writing, and direct intervention is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support new hire training with content delivery, modeling, and feedback.
• Provide direct center-based intervention.
• Collect and summarize behavioral data for treatment goals.

Pay

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Job Duties

• Support new hire training by delivering training content, modeling, and facilitating role plays and providing constructive feedback to newly hired team members.
• Provide direct intervention across center‑based settings.
• Utilize evidence‑based naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions; collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.
• Provide mentorship, on‑going training, and support to The Stepping Stones Group ABA Behavior Technicians in assigned office.
• Assist Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)/Clinical Supervisors with program development and administrative needs as assigned.
• 6‑month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.

Requirements

• Availability from 8:00am - 400pm Monday to Friday required.
• Possess an active Bachelor's degree.
• Enrollment in a Master's program that meets BACB requirements to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) strongly preferred.
• Prior experience as a lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and in program writing and direct intervention for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaborative, organizational, and leadership skills
• Commitment to cultural competency in a diverse and inclusive work environment
• Valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.
