Job summary

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Refinery Operator for the Buick Resource Recycling Facility in Boss, MO to form and cast lead, produce oxide, and move finished product to meet customer specifications. This rotating position is located at The Buick Resource Recycling Facility in Boss, MO.

The rotating, on-site role offers training, potential career growth, a 5% targeted monthly bonus, and benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background in industrial operations or similar work experience preferred; if no diploma, at least one year of industrial work experience.
• Knowledge of casting equipment and operating controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cast lead as part of a crew by running pig machine, ton caster, and billet machine.
• Pour counterweights and lead products; hook up lead pumps.
• Operate forklift, bander, small crane and other equipment as needed to cast and move lead product.
• Operate oxide machine to create lead oxide, including weighing and bag changes.
• Perform minor maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow EHS policies to work safely and report incidents; support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
