Job summary

Harry & David is seeking a Reach Lift Operator to safely operate lift trucks and manage material flow in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include reach lift operation, RF gun usage, daily inspections, and coordinating pallet activities.

Requirements include 6+ months forklift experience, basic reading and math, and completion of Safety Classroom Training and Harry & David Power Equipment certification. Ability to stand, lift 50+ lbs, and multitask in a fast-paced setting is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of forklift experience on similar equipment.
• Basic reading (English) and math skills (counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying and division).
• PC skills or previous inventory scanning experience required.
• Successful completion of Safety Classroom Training and Harry & David Certification Power Equipment.
• Ability to stand for an extended amount of time.
• Lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadline with accurate and detailed results.
• Honest and respectful communication.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Lift and other lift trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
• Use RF gun/scanner and WMS to search and gather information.
• Inspect equipment daily and complete pre-inspection form.
• Perform put-away, transfer, pick, and deliver of materials.
• Unload/load pallets from inbound/outbound trailers.
• Count inventory from upper locations and on stockers.
• Coordinate daily operations of the assigned area and lead/assist with supervision.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Provide hands-on training for new and returning associates on ticket processing.
