Job summary

Olsson's Facility Engineering and Design team seeks a Lead RCDD Designer to guide structured cabling and data center systems, mentor teammates, and serve as the technical resource for projects.

You will produce CAD/BIM drawings, coordinate across disciplines, visit sites, and uphold industry standards (BICSI, TIA/EIA, NFPA) while delivering high‑quality installations. Qualifications

• 6+ years CAD/BIM experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Active RCDD certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience producing and reviewing complex engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured cabling and communications system design for data center environments.
• Produce detailed CAD/BIM drawings and system documentation.
• Mentor team members and serve as technical resource for internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate across disciplines and ensure design excellence from concept to completion.
• Visit sites as needed to verify conditions and support installations.
