Responsibilities

• Functions as front-line supervisor for the mammography and ultrasound technologists.
• Assigns staff to positions and work assignments based on difficulty, availability, capability and experience.
• Resolves scheduling and back-up coverage problems on off-hours and weekend shifts.
• Prepares requests for filling of vacant positions.
• Participates with senior leadership in setting performance standards and objectives.
• Reviews work for accuracy and quality and takes corrective action as needed.
• Manages leave requests and equitable call rosters; ensures coverage on all shifts.
• Supports recruitment, promotions, and training initiatives as directed.
