Job summary

Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Lead Radiation Therapist to join our Photon team. You will prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients and supervise in the absence of the Chief Therapist, while operating CT simulator, linear accelerator, and diode systems.

Qualifications

• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Three (3) years as a registered Senior Radiation Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients.
• Perform supervisory duties in the absence of the Chief Therapist.
• Operate CT simulator, linear accelerator, and diode system.
• Identify, analyze and resolve program related problems.
