Job summary

The Lead Radiation Therapist at The James Radiation Oncology team within Wexner Medical Center performs radiation therapy and imaging procedures for cancer patients. Qualifications

• 2-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Licensed by the State of Ohio through the Ohio Department of Health in Radiation Therapy.
• 5+ years of Radiation Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy and imaging procedures as prescribed.
• Assist in treatment planning and maintain prescribed standards.
• Monitor patients for reactions and ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Provide student education, oversight, and supervision.
• Educate patients and participate in clinical education and projects.
