Job summary

Cochise Oncology in Carson City, Nevada, is seeking an experienced Lead Radiation Therapist (Lead RTT) to join our Radiation Oncology team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on providing exceptional patient care while guiding daily clinical operations and supporting the therapy team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT certification required.
• Nevada licensure or eligibility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in radiation therapy is required.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments.
• Lead and support the Radiation Therapist team.
• Coordinate daily treatment workflow, staffing, and patient schedules.
• Perform patient positioning, imaging, treatment verification, and CT simulation.
• Support staff orientation, training, and competency development.
• Promote radiation safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Help resolve daily workflow, staffing, and equipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Physics, Dosimetry, and clinical leadership.
• Help develop efficient workflows and maintain high standards for patient care and safety.

Pay: $55–$80/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 with a 2-year commitment
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
