Job summary

Advanced Radiation Centers of Spokane is seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist to lead a new state-of-the-art facility affiliated with Spokane Urology and The Specialty Alliance. You will drive advanced treatment delivery, supervise plans, and collaborate with physicists, dosimetry, and an expert clinical team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, ongoing education, and participation in tumor boards, safety, and quality initiatives within a physician-led MSO environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology, preferably with >3 years post-residency experience.
• Eligible for Washington medical licensure.
• Experience or strong interest in SRS/SBRT and advanced technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, high-volume outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and stage patients requiring radiation therapy with the oncology team.
• Develop and supervise individualized treatment plans using IGRT, SGRT, IMRT, SBRT and theragnostic.
• Oversee daily treatment delivery, monitor response, adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, options, side effects, and follow-up.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences.
• Ensure safety, QA, and regulatory standards in radiation oncology.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement, research, and innovation initiatives.
