Job description

Overview

Duties: Oversee the quantity surveying team on offshore and onshore oil, gas, and petrochemical projects through all project phases. Utilize Rhicoms software system, prepare invitations to tender, and develop schedules of prices for major construction contracts. Develop schedules of rates and associated preambles for unit rate contracts. Prepare bills of quantities for bid evaluations. Responsible for cost estimating and overall cost forecasts. Manage post-contract administration, including detailed measurement of IFC/AFC drawings and subsequent agreement with fabrication contractors. Identify needs and reach agreements on star rates. Validate variation order requests and claims from contractors. Develop and review change management policies and procedures.

Domestic and international travel required up to 10%

Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, along with 5 years of experience in the offered or a related occupation.
