Job summary

Google is seeking a Quantitative User Experience Researcher (Quant UXR) to work with Engineering and Product Management to create industry-leading products. You will investigate user behavior using logs analysis, surveys, and statistical methods to derive actionable insights, while collaborating with a broadQuant UXR community for mentorship.

The Cloud Security Product Analytics team supports data-driven decisions for Google Security leaders, building trusted data sets and executive insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of product research in an applied research setting.
• Experience with Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go and SQL for data extraction.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM leadership to answer critical questions through data analysis.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to understand user behavior, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for product growth.
• Apply statistical methods and modeling techniques to extract insights and build predictive models for product performance.
• Develop and monitor core metrics and dashboards to track user engagement and business outcomes.
• Design and maintain data pipelines that aggregate and enrich key product data to power scalable analyses.
