Job summary

IMC Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Trader to lead quantitative trading efforts across multiple offices in the US, including NYC and Chicago. The role combines model development, strategy design, and team leadership to drive revenue and manage risk.

The position requires advanced quantitative skills, extensive Python experience, and FINRA certifications, with a focus on mentoring traders and aligning with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and five years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience developing models, strategies, and trading systems.
• Proficiency with Python and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
• Experience trading products and navigating compliance regulations.
• FINRA Certifications: SIE, Series 57, Series 24 are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance quantitative trading models and systems with developers.
• Design end-to-end changes to trading models and strategies, including testing and implementation.
• Analyze financial and economic data to optimize trading and revenue.
• Create custom analysis tools for research beyond existing tools.
• Present high-quality financial analyses following IMC guidelines.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of traders across offices.
