Qualifications

7+ years of production Python platform experience in finance environments.
Experience building/integrating with service-oriented platforms and APIs.
Strong Excel skills for trading, risk, and analytics workflows.
Experience integrating Python with analytics libraries and data platforms.
Understanding of pricing, valuation, calibration, curves, and risk concepts.
Proven ability to improve performance and reliability of data-heavy systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and evolve a Python analytics platform used across macro business.
Shape Python APIs and interfaces for pricing, calibration, curves, and risk analytics.
Create robust service interfaces connecting users, apps, and analytics production systems.
Build analytics workflows enabling traders and researchers to access analytics via spreadsheets.
Collaborate with researchers, traders, risk users, and tech partners to translate requirements.
Work with C++ engineers to expose production analytics through Python APIs and services.
Provide guidance on API design, service architecture, and performance tunability.
Contribute to releases, production support, and diagnostic improvements.
Mentor developers and share best practices when appropriate.
