Job description

Position

Lead Quality Inspector – Weekend Lead (12‑hour shift, Friday‑Sunday 6:00a.m.–6:30p.m.)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities in the QC department.
• Prepare QC inspection schedule to cover all manufacturing areas.
• Report non‑conformances promptly.
• Support NC and CAPA investigations as required.
• Assist product flow between departments.
• Interface with Manufacturing to coordinate inspections of completed products.
• Initiate and/or propose revisions to SOPs for new processes or process improvements.
• Train QC Inspectors as required.
• Perform inspections (incoming, in‑process, first‑article, etc.) using a variety of inspection measuring equipment.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, charts, procedures and other data to determine material or product acceptance.
• Read and interpret sampling plan per ANSI standards.
• Oversee physical and electronic quarantine locations.
• Perform other related duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.

Desired Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in document and promotional materials management with electronic or manual document management systems.
• Minimum 5+ years in a Quality Systems / Regulatory Compliance environment, preferably in medical device, diagnostics or pharmaceutical industries.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO 9001/13485 and other applicable quality standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Oracle R12/Agile preferred.

Salary

Hourly pay range: $26.21–$35.38USD. Pay determined by role, level, location and experience.
