Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Quality Engineer to join our team at the BWI site in Baltimore, MD. You will develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation systems and collaborate with engineering to ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of QA experience or a master’s with less experience; you will lead corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement, and may work with suppliers to drive robust quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM fields with 5+ years QA or related experience.
• Experience in data analytics and statistical methods.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality systems and process controls.
• Lead QA audits, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality.
• Design and implement inspection/testing methods and equipment.
• Lead continuous improvements to reduce nonconformances.
