Job summary

Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago seeks a Lead Quality Engineer to advance the Bank’s quality engineering capabilities with automation-first, engineering-led testing across Workday, HR, Finance, ERP and SaaS platforms. The role combines hands-on delivery, test strategy, code reviews, CI/CD quality gates, and coaching across agile delivery teams.

Qualifications

10+ years of Quality Engineering or SDET experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
Hands-on coding in languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or equivalent.
Experience with Workday, ERP, SaaS platforms and API testing.

Responsibilities

Lead QA strategy across agile teams, including test automation architecture and governance.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and CI/CD integrations.
Mentor Quality Engineers and drive shift-left, AI-assisted and DevSecOps practices.
