Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking professionals to help ensure quality across our concrete products and processes. You will conduct inspections, stamp for DOT compliance, and manage certifications for the plant and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to keep and maintain all required documentation.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot temperatures.
• Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document Pre and Post Pour Inspections of product.
• Ensure all products meet or exceed ASTM and DOT specs.
• Inspect and stamp product according to DOT standards prior to shipment.
• Maintain all plant and personal certifications thru ACPA, NPCA, and multiple DOT's.
• Perform daily tests to ensure quality in product (cylinder breaks, pre-pour / post-pour, wire check, etc.).
• Supervise, lead and mentor a group of Quality Control Technicians throughout out the region.
• Test and document fresh and hardened concrete in accordance with industry standard.
