Job summary

Superior Essex Communications in Franklin, TN seeks a Lead Quality Assurance Technician to assist management by creating data batches, performing QA checks, and transmitting data files. You will drive the database setup for new protocols, coordinate with cross functional teams, and help schedule regular data transfers.

Responsibilities include compiling lab test data, generating Certificate of Analysis reports, reviewing data before shipments, and contributing to problem-solving using 8D/5-Why

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• Adheres to safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime.
• Ability to lift and carry 70 pounds.
• Ability to read calipers and/or micrometers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and read blueprints, and read meters of electrical and electronic equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to read an oscilloscope.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and compiles test data from the lab, creates customer test reports (Certificate of Analysis), interacts with customer portals to upload data, production volume and other needs.
• Reviews test data prior to shipments, analyzes returned material, performs Root Cause Analysis, 8D.
• Participates in new plant procedures, collecting data from experiments and assisting other team members.
