Job summary

Farmer’s Fridge is seeking a Lead Quality & Food Safety Technician to safeguard the integrity of our meals and our food safety program across shifts. You will monitor daily quality checks, document activities, and support QA programs to ensure products meet our standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in quality/food safety, knowledge of GMPs/SOPs/HACCP, and the ability to work in a 40°F environment. English fluency is required, Spanish a plus; competitive pay, benefits, and a sign-on bonus are

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of work experience in quality and/or food safety.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and Food Safety requirements.
• Able to work in a 40°F environment for a full shift; standing and walking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable using a computer tablet.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Support QFS Techs by being the first point of contact on the floor.
• Verify daily quality and food safety activities are completed and documented.
• Train new hires and support cross-training for other employees.
• Execute verification activities as delegated by the QFS Supervisor.
• Keep QA Office and supplies organized and communicate needs to the QFS Supervisor.
• Backup coverage for QFS as needed.
• Support master sanitation and emergency projects as needed (HVAC issues, etc.).
