Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science is required.
  • Experience leading a laboratory team and coordinating QA activities.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills across levels and locations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor junior chemists, providing training on lab procedures and equipment.
  • Ensure training of QC Chemist and provide action plans when standards aren’t met.
  • Lead bench coverage and coordinate duties if QC Chemist is unavailable.
  • Perform routine and specialized testing to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee lab safety, PPE compliance, and maintain equipment operation.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
