Job summary

JBS USA QA Team Lead on the production floor will oversee QA technicians, support pre- and post-shift activities, and help ensure standardized work and timely production changes. You will mentor staff, train and cross-train QA personnel, and collaborate with QA Supervisors to meet daily specs and safety requirements.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and hands-on knowledge of line operations, with focus on safety and adherence to GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate and be able to pass all required safety courses provided by JBS.
• Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, and capable of completing all work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to motivate, train, and teach employees their job to JBS standards.
• Must be willing to work with line supervisors to make placement decisions and help with make sheet.
• Must have knowledge of all jobs on designated line or have the ability to learn them.
• Must be confident in coaching and counseling employees about qualification issues (not discipline).
• Proficiency in the jobs on the line.
• Strong record of safety.
• Attendance will be examined, less than 3 points preferred.
• Good Communication SkillsTrack record of positive Work Performance.
