Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer for the Trading Platform Engineering team in Boston. This role will be 70% hands-on and 30% leadership, supporting asset management applications and ensuring high-quality software delivery. The team includes ~20 QE professionals across the trading tech stack.

The candidate will own quality strategy, mentor QE engineers, and drive automation with Playwright, Jenkins, and AI-enhanced testing in a hybrid onsite role based in Boston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years QE/testing experience.
• Proven QE leadership experience.
• Strong multi-type testing: functional, performance, end-to-end.
• Hands-on CI/CD and test automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall quality engineering strategy across applications and initiatives.
• Own and evolve test and automation strategies aligned with architecture and business goals.
• Lead end-to-end test design, execution, and automation across multiple workstreams.
• Drive the development and adoption of scalable automation frameworks and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QE engineers, guide design and execution.
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into test strategies.
• Establish and enforce quality gates and release standards across the SDLC.
