Breeze End Technology is seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer for our Alexandria, Virginia office. This role involves designing and implementing manual and automated testing strategies, maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks, and managing a team of SQA engineers.

Lead Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Duties

• Lead and manage the QA team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
• Design and implement testing strategies and methodologies for mobile and web applications.
• Develop and execute automated test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects and issues promptly, working with the development team to resolve them.
• Monitor and track testing progress and provide regular status reports to directors.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments, including development and project management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand testing needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to test processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all automated tests are integrated into the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation code quality.
• Drive test automation best practices across the organization.
