Job summary

The Ohio DODD Department seeks a licensed psychologist to supervise the Psychology Department staff, provide clinical guidance, and help plan and assess psychological programs and services. The role includes intake evaluations, behavior analyses, and collaboration with QMPRs and HRC for behavior plans.

Responsibilities cover counseling sessions, staff supervision, training new employees, and contributing to IPP meetings and court-related testimony as required.

Qualifications

• License to practice psychology in Ohio; 12 months of experience as a licensed psychologist.
• 1 course in employee training & development or 3 months of supervision/training experience with psychology staff.
• Proficiency in conducting intake evaluations and client assessments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Psychology Department staff and manage performance evaluations.
• Provide advice and consultation on psychological matters and program development.
• Conduct intake evaluations, functional analyses, and behavior management plans.
• Lead trainings for new employees on behavioral principles and medications side effects.
• Participate in IPP meetings, psychotropic reviews, and related meetings.
• Testify in court proceedings as needed.
