Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• License to practice medicine in the United States.
• Residency in an approved core specialty (ACGME/AOA).
• Board certification requirements apply for certain roles or faculty status.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical and administrative functions of the Psychiatry and Mental Health Service.
• Oversee performance improvement and system redesign activities.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, FPPE/OPPE, and credentialing requirements.
• Provide psychiatric care oversight and supervision as assigned.
• Attend relevant VA committees and coordinate with service leads.
